Welcome to BACU’s Student Housing and residential halls. Students who decide to stay with us will meet people from different parts of the world, assimilate different cultures and traditions, develop new and lifelong friendships, have an active role in residential life, and expand their social and academic skills. More importantly, we hope you will find your accommodation comfortable, new, and safe; in other words, your home away from home.

Student Housing Options:

• Sharing Occupancy: 2 large rooms with 2 beds each in the same Apartment Per person, per semester, inclusive of rental and utilities charges* AED 3500/-

• Single Occupancy: 1 Large Bed Room Per Semester, inclusive of rental and utilities charges* AED 6,000/-

• Refundable Security Deposit – per person AED 2,000/-

Note: 5% VAT will be applicable.

 

Terms & Conditions for Refund: Once the Resident pays the rental charges for the accommodation in the Residential Halls, they have the option to withdraw from occupying the premises. However, please note the following terms and conditions regarding refunds:

• Cancellation Before or at the Start of the Semester: If the Resident cancels their occupancy before or at the start of the semester (Fall Semester starts in September, and Spring Semester starts in January), a cancellation fee of 20% of the total fees will be deducted from the refund.

• Cancellation Within Fifteen Days from the Start of the Semester: If the Resident reserves or stays in the accommodation for up to fifteen days from the start of the semester but decides to leave or cancel their occupancy, they will be eligible for a 50% refund of the paid hostel fees.

• No Refund After Fifteen Days from the Start of the Semester: After the fifteen-day period from the start of the semester has elapsed, no further refunds will be issued for rental charges. Please note that the security deposit will still be refunded.

• Dismissal from the Hostel/Residence Halls: If a Resident is dismissed from the hostel or residence halls during the course of a session, no refund will be possible for the balance period. This applies regardless of the reason for dismissal.

• Dismissal for Academic or Disciplinary Reasons: In the event that a Resident is dismissed from the Residential Halls for academic or disciplinary reasons by the University or institution, the Resident shall vacate the premises immediately. If the dismissal is for reasons outside the purview of the Residential Halls, the Resident will not be refunded the rental charges for the remaining period of the session.
