Meet Our Student Affairs Dept. Team

Helping Students in Every Turn

Student support & counseling in BACU has an innovative approach which emphasizes student involvement throughout the process. The student affairs department provides the necessary resources and support to students. Student support officers help students achieve their academic goals including career path, internship, study abroad programs, graduate studies, course-specific field trips and other extracurricular activities.

The student affairs department is also committed to providing a range of services to help, guide and support students in achieving greater academic and psychosocial wellbeing. An important aim of counselling is to promote students’ overall development and prevent personal difficulties from interfering with their academic pursuits. Counselling services are designed to provide and enhance the BACU student experience. These services include one-on-one counselling (educational or personal), workshops, live sessions, campaigns, and group counselling.

BACU Support officers provide the opportunity for students to discuss matters and concerns related to personal development, relationship difficulties, family conflicts, coping with health, stress and time management, including grief and bereavement. They support students of determination by providing necessary and relevant assistance and support to carry out their fullest potential. In addition, the Student Affairs Dept. support and advocate for students’ financial aid requests, as well as encourage students to take part in extracurricular activities for their overall engagement and success.
