School of Business
The School of Business at the BACU offers specialty programs in the areas of: Accounting & Finance, Business Management, Human Resource Management and Marketing.
We provide students with a rich immersion into academics, skill development, personal growth and time management. We train students to become business professionals who can function seamlessly in any dynamic work environments.
Starting Fall 2023, we offer two major types of diplomas: a 2 year Higher National Diploma, (HND) (with Pearson, UK BTEC) and BSc (Hons), Level 6-Top-Up degree at Teesside University, UK Campus.
Business Pathways & Majors
Accounting & Finance
Accounting involves the detailed preparation of financial statements while finance is about understanding the monetary situation of the company and making decisions about what to do with the finances. This program provides answers to the constant question of: How does/should the company spend and invest its money?
Business Management
This program provides a good head start for candidates who wish to develop Business and Managerial skills. The program takes students through the core areas of management including Marketing, Sales, Strategy management, etc., along with the key areas such as finance and economics.
Human Resource Management
Human resource management (HRM) is the practice of recruiting, hiring, deploying and managing an organization's employees. A company is only as good as its employees, making HRM a crucial part of maintaining or improving the health of the business. This program provides the needed skills and competencies for proper HRM.
Marketing
Our marketing HND is a program of study on how to promote products and services to a target audience. Marketing majors learn how to find out what people want, understand the needs of different customer segments, communicate how a product or service fills those needs, and guide potential customers to take action.

The Pearson BTEC Higher National qualifications (HNDs) in Business are designed to reflect the increasing need for high quality professional and technical education at UK levels 4 and 5. They provide students with a clear line of sight to employment and to a Level 6-Top-Up degree at Teeside University, UK Campus.

On the other hand, the Bachelors - BA (Hons) degree at Teeside University, UK Campus is designed to give students in-depth skills & knowledge to build a successful career in BUSINESS. With unparalleled flexibility, the course allows students to forge their own pathway with a clear line of sight to employment and to a one year Masters degree (MBA) at UK if they choose.
