The Deputy Ruler of Umm Al Quwain Attends the Graduation Ceremony of the "Pride and Glory" Cohort at the British Applied College.

His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Deputy Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, affirmed that education is a fundamental pillar in building individuals and shaping the future. He emphasized that investing in national talent is a well-established approach adopted by the United Arab Emirates under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, may God protect him, to prepare generations equipped with knowledge, expertise, and the ability to innovate and compete on the global stage.



This came during His Highness's attendance at the graduation ceremony of the

"Pride and Glory" Class of the 2025–2026 academic year, organized by the British Applied College at the Umm Al Quwain Cultural Center. The ceremony was attended by a number of officials, parents, and members of the academic and administrative staff.


His Highness noted that the nation's celebration of its graduates reflects the high priority accorded to the education sector within the country's comprehensive development journey, as well as its vital role in preparing national talent capable of carrying forward the UAE's achievements and enhancing the nation's competitiveness across various fields.

His Highness also praised the efforts of educational institutions in advancing their academic programs and aligning their outcomes with the needs of the labor market. He emphasized that these efforts contribute to graduating highly qualified professionals who are well equipped to meet future demands and play an active role in supporting sustainable development. He wished the graduates continued success and prosperity, expressing his hope that they would serve as exemplary ambassadors for their country in their professional careers and contributions to society.



The ceremony commenced with the UAE national anthem, followed by a recitation from the Holy Quran. A documentary film was then screened, highlighting the British Applied College's key milestones and academic achievements, as well as the significant progress it has made in developing its educational programs and expanding its strategic partnerships.

In his address, Ahmed Jamal Al Soufi, Executive Dean of the British Applied College, stated that the graduation of the "Pride and Glory" Class reflects the college's vision of preparing graduates with the knowledge and skills required to meet the demands of the future. He noted that the college had achieved significant progress during the current academic year, including growth in student enrollment, the enhancement of educational laboratories, and the expansion of partnerships with government and private sector entities. He also highlighted the college's continued support for student participation in scientific competitions and national initiatives, which strengthens graduates' readiness for the labor market and equips them to compete and innovate. He encouraged the graduates to continue their pursuit of knowledge, uphold the values of the United Arab Emirates, and regard this achievement as the beginning of a distinguished journey marked by excellence and meaningful contribution.

The ceremony featured a number of celebratory performances that reflected the pride and joy of the occasion, with parents joining their sons and daughters in celebrating this important academic milestone in an atmosphere of shared accomplishment.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla honored the graduates, wishing them continued success in their future endeavors.
