Prof. Mohamed Watfa, The British Applied College’s Executive Dean along with a team from BACU, paid the International School of Choueifat in Umm al Quwain a visit to discuss possible future partnership programs and most importantly deliver a seminar for Grade 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11 students on Artificial Intelligence and future careers. Mr. Neil Smooker, the School Director welcomed the visit and had very interesting ideas for future partnerships between the school and the college to enhance the students learning experience while they are still in schools and to assist them to make future.
More specifically, applications of AI including medical, education, face recognition, among others were discussed and presented.
Holographic displays engaged the students even more along with applications of AI using drones. Students were very attentive and interested to see how their future careers will be shaped by AI technologies.
